My sister and I started talking about opening a coffee shop over 6 years ago, we knew it must be unique to compete with others, had coffee, food, baked goods, pastries and our signature Cheesecakes.  Unfortunately, our effort was cut short by a family health crisis and our plans were put on hold. Over the next few years the dream never wavered and in 2018 we had the opportunity to revisit the idea and this time our mission was clear of obstacles.

        We immediately started working on the business plan and finding the perfect location.  We knew location was key, we wanted something that was not the normal run of the mill Coffee Shop, something that had its own history and identity that could be embraced.  We found that in the historic G. Kerndt and Brothers Elevator and Warehouses, No. 11, No.12 and No. 13 building.

        The building sits right on the Mississippi river, other businesses within the structure are; Museum of River History (direct access from the Coffee Shop), River View Inn (front and rear inside stairway access to the Coffee Shop) and River Ridge Outdoors (located on the south side of the building).  While keeping the historic features intact the Coffee Shop and Wine (coming soon) area was custom built to compliment the space.

        Our desire is to craft a truly unique experience by capitalizing on the skills we have acquired over many years, by providing high quality, fresh products with our own twists.  We come to work to brighten our customers day by leaving them with a smile on their face and warmth in their heart.  We believe that our shop is truly one of a kind and we hope you love it as much as we do!
